≈ 0.3 mrad
Weapon laying accuracy (≈ 30 cm at 1 km)
Up to 20
Targets detected simultaneously
360°
Independent search
System Role
Independent fire-control core designed to upgrade existing weapons and vehicles or serve as the basis of new systems.
Electro-Optical System
Daylight and thermal imaging channels for continuous observation and target acquisition. Integrated laser rangefinder for precise target-range measurement. 360° independent search capability, separate from weapon pointing direction.
AI and Tracking
AI-assisted automatic target detection, classification, and tracking. Detects up to 20 targets simultaneously; the selected target is tracked automatically.
Ballistic Computing
Digital ballistic computer continuously updates the firing solution using range, target motion, ammunition, and environmental conditions. Digital processing cycle from sensor data to firing solution is under 10 ms.
Human Control
The system performs sensing, tracking, and ballistic computation while target selection and weapon release remain under authorized operator control.
Platform Integration
Self-contained sensors, computer, and stabilization allow integration independent of the host vehicle or weapon mount. Demonstrated on towed anti-aircraft guns, wheeled armored vehicles, and tracked armored carriers.

Where FDI sits in layered air defense

Missile layers take what they are built for. The final layer brings four synchronized mounts together under FALCON EYE.

Illustrative animation · not to scale
Long-range missilesBuilt for aircraft and missiles at distance. Spending one of these interceptors on a cheap drone is a poor trade.
Short-range missilesCloser in, still missile-class. Against a swarm, magazines empty before the attack does.
Final layer: FALCON 23-4M LIGHTNINGFour synchronized 23 mm mounts under FALCON EYE. The operator retains the decision to engage.
